Until now we've been singing "First the worst, second the best, third the one with the hairy chest" to cheer ourselves up after being awarded another silver or runner up prize in the food & drink awards we entered. But finally, we've actually won. And 3 Gold Stars no less!
Organised by the Guild of Fine Food, the Great Taste Awards are the Oscars of the food world. The epicurean equivalent of the Booker prize. Over 300 judges blind taste test some 6000 products and award gold stars to only the very best. So we're delighted that our brand new The Granola was given 2 Gold Stars whilst Daily Oats porridge was awarded our third.
