Packaging

Our old packaging was environmentally pretty good, but people told us that it was only OK to store and pour.  At Rude Health we’re not really big fans of OK. We aim for great, brilliant and leaping tall buildings in a single bound. So we redesigned it. It’s made from materials that are sourced every bit as obsessively as our ingredients.

The muesli and porridge is now packaged in a cardboard box with an inner plastic bag. Not only are they pretty spiffy looking, they stop the contents being damaged. Damage means waste, and waste means a pack of good stuff going into landfill instead of your tum.

And of course, they’re environmentally friendly.  The cardboard comes from GM and pesticide-free sustainable trees, which spend a happy life hoovering up CO2. We only buy them from FSC-certified forests. You can drop it in the recycling, or give it to your hamster who can use it as a little house. The bag should be recyclable too, if your area has the facilities. If yours doesn't, then let us know and we'll hassle your council. Together we can make a difference.

Currently we’re turning our attention to our puffs and flakes bags. Are you still reading this? Congratulations! You’re as obsessive as we are. Get in touch, we have so much to talk about.

Love the fruity date! Yum! Issie cLet us know what you think
